Hivos Southeast Asia is a Dutch non-governmental organization guided by humanist values. It aims at structural poverty alleviation with a strong focus on civil society building and sustainable
economic development. Hivos Southeast Asia provides financial support for local NGOs, is active in networking, lobbying and exchanging knowledge and expertise. 


The Consultant support the PDM OPEN (TA/FoE and WE/SRD) in implementing her tasks in developing the Cultural Activism program especially the wrap up process of CreativeNet. The total number of working days is max 40 (forty) days from June until October 2016 (approx. 2 days/week). The Consultant for OPEN – Cultural Activism will work closely with OPEN program team, Finance Officer and Operations Manager.
Roles and responsibilities
A. Programme Management Support
1. Managing the partnership with a small number of civil society organizations working on CreativeNet including performing monitoring and evaluation through out-of-town travels.
2. Organizing workshop, meetings, trainings, and the design and printing of publications as necessary.

B. Project Administration
1. Assisting the preparation of all necessary documents and administrative handlings of CreativeNet.
2. Processing of annual progress and informing partners on the outcome.
3. Monitoring the timeliness of report submission from partners.
Knowledge, experiences and competencies

• Excellent knowledge of development issues with emphasis on cultural activism issues in Indonesia.
• Good understanding of and strong affinity with social innovation, civil society, in particular with non-governmental organizations.
• Strong organizational, administrative and communication skills, particularly proficiency of writing in English.
• A good team worker.
• Prior experience in grant making will be regarded as an asset.
